3. Poem #4: (this is a nother option for your second poem): Write a poem that starts with the word "once." Your poem should spring from an identifiable moment in the past without directly stating it. Identify the moment through concrete details.

4. Write one more poem. Choose from these three topics:
A. a landscape poem
B. a poem about something you know a lot about but others may not. In the poem compare that "something" to a a series of other things in an attempt to get the reader to understand it.
C. a poem in which you use a number of original puns (emphasis on "original")
